Practice Area And Professional Expertise
- Mr. Dowling focuses his practice on litigation and trial practice. He has extensive jury trial experience for individuals and corporations in matters involving professional liability, product liability, wrongful death, general negligence, insurance, and business disputes. He has tried approximately one hundred cases to jury verdict.
- Mr. Dowling frequently serves as a mediator or arbitrator. He attended the Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution in 2008.
- Mr. Dowling is a past president of the Akron Bar Association and a frequent speaker at trial practice seminars.
- He has been recognized as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers™ in 2007 - 2010, as voted by his peers. He has also received various awards for service to his community and the legal profession.
- Mr. Dowling has a Martindale-Hubbell Rating of AV, which indicates very high to pre-eminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential
