Vacanti joined Buckingham in May 2005 as a Summer Associate. He continued at Buckingham as a Law Clerk until graduation, and he immediately began practicing as an attorney at the firm after passing the Bar in November 2006.
Vacanti focuses his practice primarily on real estate and land use including zoning, development, eminent domain and tax appeal matters. He regularly appears before administrative boards and courts. Additionally, he represents property owners and clients in all aspects of real estate transactions and developments.
Vacanti is a frequent speaker at land use, zoning, and real estate seminars.
Vacanti earned his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy at American University in Washington, D.C. and attended Case Western Reserve University Law School for his Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude.

Vacanti lives in Strongsville, Ohio with his wife (Kim) and his two sons (Alexander and Xavier). He is a current member of the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Kids in Need Foundation, Inc. and a former Trustee of the Hudson Montessori School. Outside of the office, he is an avid backpacker, camper, reader, and a true Cleveland sports fan.
