Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, a Northeast Ohio business law firm, recently named a new president.
Steven A. Dimengo, who has been with the firm for 29 years, is succeeding managing partner John P. Slagter. Dimengo practices corporate law and taxation.
“I am honored to serve the firm in this role and am grateful for the confidence my peers have in me to take Buckingham and our clients’ businesses to the next level of success,” he said.
Dimengo added his time at the firm has prepared him to take on the role.
“I know the firm, our attorneys and support staff very well,” he said. “I have a deep understanding of Buckingham’s history and how far we’ve come, and a clear vision of our future and the potential we have to accomplish more.”
Applying skills from his whole career, Dimengo is eager to show the firm and the Greater Cleveland law community his vision.
“Throughout my career, I have learned that we must look backwards from a vision that fits the potential of our firm and achieve such vision with action steps and the support of our entire team,” he said. “My goal as the firm’s new leader is to build a strong foundation for our firm to grow and to embrace positive change within our firm and within the legal industry as a whole.
