[August 10, 2020, Akron, Ohio] Buckingham is pleased to announce that attorney, Heather Steele, has joined the Firm’s Akron office as an Associate in the Employment & Labor practice group.
Heather serves as a valuable resource for her clients, assisting them with matters pertaining to FLMA, harassment and discrimination, collective bargaining agreements, non-compete agreements, and school and public-law inquiries, as well as workers’ compensation claims and COVID-19 regulations and considerations.
Heather has experience working with multiple local firms as an associate and law clerk. Prior to law school, Heather worked as a General Manager and Operations Specialist for Verizon. She managed up to 300 reports across multiple retail locations. Through that role, she was exposed to many HR issues which ultimately led to her interest in working as a Labor and Employment attorney. Her practical experience has been very helpful in her ability to relate to her clients.
