Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC is pleased to share that on June 13, 2023 the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit issued an opinion in which it upheld the decision in favor of the Defendant made by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in the case of Admiral Insurance Co v. Fire-Dex, LLC, with Buckingham Partner Justin Greenfelder representing the Defendant. In the originating case Admiral denied insurance coverage to Fire-Dex for defense or indemnity in lawsuits alleging injury related to Fire-Dex’s products. That case was dismissed in October 2022. The Sixth Circuit agreed with Fire-Dex’s arguments and affirmed the dismissal of the case for lack of jurisdiction.
