What: On the 13th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs’ Akron office and the Fairlawn Fire Department will take time to reflect on the unforgettable moment in history, and the effect it has had on this nation and the world. The Fairlawn Fire Department will raise the American flag and join us in reciting The Pledge of Allegiance at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014. Coffee and pastries will be available in the building’s atrium immediately following the ceremony.

When: Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 9 a.m.

Where: Flag pole in the parking lot 3800 Embassy Parkway Akron, OH 44333

Why: This ceremony is held to honor and recognize the memory of those lost and those who continue to sacrifice for our freedoms and our safety.
