GRANGER TWP. — The Granger Township Zoning Commission voted Tuesday in favor of a project to bring a Menards store to state Route 18 and Medina Line Road.

David Hartt, a representative from CT Consultants Inc., which has been working on the project, said Menards agreed to adjust the site plan in accordance with requests made by the commission, which included widening the buffer on Medina Line Road from 40 feet to 50 feet and planning for a 2- to 3-foot mound along Route 18 to be constructed and planted as interim landscaping.

“What you would be doing tonight, if you agree with all of this, subject to your commenting on it and modifications to it, you would be approving a specific preliminary development plan of the Menards portion of phase one and then you would be approving the basic development principals for the remainder of the site,” Hartt said.
