Buckingham is pleased to announce that Derrick S. Haines has joined the Firm’s Canton office as a Partner in the Business and Health & Medicine practice groups.
Derrick’s practice focuses on advising clients on complex corporate transactions, equity and debt investments, and real estate development. He has extensive experience representing clients on mergers and acquisitions and structuring real estate ventures and their capital raises. He also provides counsel on a wide variety of general business matters.
“Derrick adds strength to our talented corporate M&A team, as well as our growing health law practice” said Buckingham’s Canton office partner-in-charge, Joe Feltes. “He brings impressive experience representing clients from various industries, including private equity, healthcare and real estate, among many others. Derrick joins a strong group of attorneys at Buckingham who serve clients ranging from middle market businesses to Fortune 500 companies in Ohio and throughout the country. In the last six months, Buckingham has added more than ten attorneys across all three offices; Derrick is the latest addition of top talent to join the Firm.

Derrick received his juris doctorate from The University of Akron School of Law. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from The University of Akron and his Bachelors of Business Administration from The University of Mount Union.
