Jeff is a partner in Buckingham’s Litigation practice, representing businesses, financial institutions, and individuals in complex commercial disputes, creditors’ rights matters, bankruptcy-related litigation, and appeals.
Jeff brings a distinctive perspective to his practice, combining more than a decade of litigation experience with service as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Having practiced extensively before his clerkship, Jeff understands the demands of litigation from both the advocate’s and the court’s perspectives. That experience informs his approach to developing persuasive arguments, identifying the issues that matter most, and pursuing effective resolutions.
Jeff works closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop litigation strategies that advance those goals. Whether negotiating a resolution, litigating in trial court, or pursuing an appeal, he emphasizes thoughtful preparation, direct communication, and practical judgment.
